SAINT GEORGE :      Mary Louise Ferguson passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at her home in Saint George.  She was 78.

Mary was born in Colleton County June 26, 1939 a daughter of the late Wade and Sue Stokes Ferguson.  She was a seamstress at several dress plants throughout her life, and after retirement, sang in the gospel group "Hearts of Praise".  She attended the Church of God, and was known as a devoted friend and a person who loved all animals.

She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, with burial following in the Meeting House Cemetery in Dorchester County.  The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 at Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro.
