WALTERBORO :     Mary Howell Fletcher passed away Sunday evening, January 31, 2021 at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.  She was 54.

Mary was born November 29, 1966 a daughter of Madison and Kitty Stewart Howell.  She grew up in Mount Pleasant, and also lived in Goose Creek before moving to Walterboro.  She was a graduate of Wando High School and Charleston Southern University.  Mary was an active member of St. John United Methodist Church, and was a devoted mother, daughter and sister.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons John Peyton Fletcher and Scott Allen Fletcher.  Mary leaves behind her sister and brother-in-law, Cam and West McAdams and their children Callie, Douglas and Jane, as well as her brother and sister-in-law, Buck and Marie Howell and their children Ann and Maddie.

Due to the situation that currently exists in the nation, state and community with the coronavirus pandemic services will be held privately.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John United Methodist Church, c/o Cherry Smyly, 987 Smyly Road, Ruffin, SC 29475.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
