ISLANDTON :     Nancy Mitchell passed away peacefully Sunday evening, February 25, 2024 at her home in Islandton, under hospice care, after an extended illness.  She was born in Laurinburg, NC June 29, 1948 a daughter of the late Donald McCurllers and Ann Glaus, and attended the Anthony P. Murray School in Charleston.    Nancy was a well-known hunting guide at many plantations throughout the Lowcountry of South Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father Lindy Davis Willard.  She leaves behind a host of caregivers and friends that she loved deeply...and who loved her in return.

In accordance with Nancy's wishes, there will not be any funeral services held for her.  Arrangements are being handled by Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home.
