WALTERBORO: Mrs. Ollie P. Vaughn Rath, 97, wife of the late Lee Vaughn, passed away at her home on March 21, 2016. She was born in Oconee County, SC a daughter of the late Cleophus Perry and Ella J. Perry. Mrs. Rath was a retired Nurse for both Dr. Jim vonLehe and Dr. Luke Erwin. She was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church and the Mayfield Garden Club.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann V. Hooker of Walterboro. She is survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three daughters: Jean McClellan, Carletta Keith, and Judy Eleazor.

A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home of Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
