WALTERBORO:     Mrs. Patsy J. Lowery passed away peacefully at her home on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2024 under hospice care, with her family by her side.  She was 83.

Patsy was born in Emory, Texas June 13, 1941 a daughter of the late Norman and Florence Wright Lowery, and she retired as an inspector for Vestra Industries.  Patsy was a devoted mother and grandmother, and she loved her family above all else.  She enjoyed gardening, spending time at the beach, and enjoying the beauty of the world God created.

Patsy is survived by her children:  Diane Fletcher (Frank), Deborah Conrad (Curtis), Tracy Mixson (Beanie), Stacy Mixson (Lisa), Scott Mixson (Heather), and Cristy Carson (Wendell).  The are fourteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.  Patsy is also survived by her siblings:  Norma Lee Weeks, Kathleen Shell, Judy Campbell, Laverne Martin, Eugene Lowery, Harold Lowery, and Kenneth Lowery.  She was preceded in death by her son Michael Jason Mixson, and by the love of her life, James O. Mixson.

Patsy will be interred in a private graveside service.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
