WALTERBORO: Mrs. Patsy Litchfield Morgan, 83, entered into eternal rest on February 15, 2026, at her home. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her peaceful passing.
Patsy was born August 6, 1942 in Walterboro, a daughter of the late Clara Griffin Litchfield, and the late Dillon Leon Litchfield. After graduating from Walterboro High School, she began working at a local bank, and throughout her career she was a teller and customer service representative. She never met a stranger, and greeted everyone with the same caring attitude and beautiful smile. After retiring from banking, she worked for State Farm.
Patsy loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all of her heart. She was a very active member of Black Creek Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and member of the Sunshine Circle. Music was extremely important to her, and she was the music leader for many years. She was also a member of the Colleton County Choral Society.
Patsy was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother throughout her life. She was also a friend to many, and went out of her way to help others through her kindness. Patsy was a sports enthusiast, pulling for both The Clemson Tigers and The Carolina Gamecocks. She enjoyed watching Duke basketball and the Atlanta Braves. She will truly be missed.
She is survived by her daughters Dawn Farish (Mark), and Chris Jordan, and by her step-daughter Cheryl M. Hall (Bill). Patsy, lovingly referred to as "Gram", was loved and cherished by her grandchildren Cameron Farish, Alexis Farish Bartram (Will), by her great-grandchild Bowen Bartram, and by her step-grandchildren Matt and Jay Cook and Rob and Charlie Hall. She leaves behind her brothers Johnny Litchfield (Jane), and Danny Litchfield, and her sisters Betty Poe (Jim) and Laurann Litchfield. There is a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her loving husband of 36 years, Hugh Morgan Jr., she was preceded death by her beloved grandson Pierce Jordan, and by her step-daughter Suzanne
M. Cook.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning, February 19, 2026 at 11:00 at Black Creek Baptist Church, with burial following in the church cemetery.
