Patricia "Patsy" Scroggs Wilson passed away peacefully on September 23, 2023 at age 94. She was born April, 25, 1929 in Bryson City, NC to her parents Pat and Dora Scroggs. Patsy met Chester Wilson while in nursing training, and they were married on May 31, 1952 in Greenville, SC.

Patsy is survived by her brother and his wife, Leon and Vivian Scroggs, her son Allen "Chester" Wilson, her daughter and her husband Kay and Les Knight, her grandchildren, Jennifer Tucker, Tyler Moore, Allyson Wilson, Chelsea Chen and Grayson Knight, and her great grandson, Charlie Chen. Patsy also had many nieces and nephews, loving them all deeply.

Patsy was a woman of great faith. When asked what her favorite bible verse was, without hesitation her answer was John 3:16. She believed that how she treated others as well as her actions was her testimony to living a Christian life. Her great loves were her husband and her family and her friends.

Please join us in a Celebration of Life service for Patsy on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 11:00 am at The First Baptist Church, 307 College Avenue, Clemson, SC. There will be a reception following her service in the Family Life Center of the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Patsy to:
