WALTERBORO: Peggy H. Bartlett passed away Saturday afternoon, October 28, 2023 at her home in Walterboro under hospice care, with her family by her side.  She was 85.

Peggy was born in Walterboro February 8, 1938 a daughter of the late Christopher and Gertrude Warren Hoats.  She was well-known throughout Colleton County as a dedicated and successful real estate agent for many years.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her sons, John Charles Bartlett and Charles Francis Bartlett IV.  She has three grandchildren, Taylor, Gabe and Laurel Bartlett, as well as one great-grandchild, Alexander Bartlett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Francis Bartlett III.

A memorial service will be held Thursday evening, November 2, 2023 at 6:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service until 8:00 PM.
