CHARLESTON :     Mr. Richmond Floyd "R.F." Muckenfuss, husband of Mary Brownlee Muckenfuss, passed away Tuesday morning, April 11, 2023 at Ashley Gardens in West Ashley.  He was 95.

"R.F." was born in Cottageville March 20, 1928 a son of the late Clifton and India Rhode Muckenfuss.  He was retired from Genuine Parts Company, where he was a devoted employee for 45 years.  He was an active member of John Wesley Methodist Church and his wife, his family, and his work were his guiding lights.

In addition to his wife of seventy-five years, "R.F." is survived by his son, R.F. Muckenfuss Jr., (Susan) and by his daughter, Belinda Muckenfuss Shaffer.  There are three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held privately.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the John Wesley Methodist Church in Charleston.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home of Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
