WALTERBORO :    Mr. George Russell Walling, husband of the late Sandra Lynn Graham Walling, passed away Friday morning, August 26, 2022 at his home in Walterboro after a brief illness.  He was 60.

Russell was born in Walterboro September 11, 1961 a son of the late George and Gloria Grooms Walling.  He was a gifted carpenter, and was the lead saw man for Extreme Construction Company.  He possessed a wonderful sense of humor, and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his children:  Clyde Padgett Jr. (Ashley), Janet Lynn Murray, Rusty Walling (Teresa), Matthew Walling (Courtney), Justin Walling (Tuesday), and Amber Marie Brown.  He leaves behind one sister, Linda Copeland, and one brother, Alvin Walling.  There are thirty-seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  In addition to his wife and his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother John Walling, and by sisters Ann and Sharon Walling.

A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday evening, August 30, 2022 at 5:30 at the home of his son Clyde Padgett, 449 Estates Drive, Walterboro, SC  29488.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home of Walterboro is assisting the family with arrangements.
