COTTAGEVILLE :     Samantha Reeves Crosby, wife of Stephen Crosby, passed away Friday, September 25, 2020 at Trident Medical Center in Charleston.  She was 54.

Samantha was born in Charleston October 31, 1965 a daughter of the late James Reeves Jr. and Helen Hoff Reeves.  She was a homemaker, and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Samantha was a selfless person with a big heart who always placed the needs of her family and friends above her own.  She will truly be missed.

In addition to her husband of fourteen years, she is survived by her children:  Whitney (Sam), Alyssa, Brandi (Victor), Tyler (Brittany), Chandler (Taylor), Joseph, Devine, Lilly, Ashlie, and Violet.  She has two sisters, Ann Long of Greenwood, and Janice Duncan (Gregg) of Summerville, as well as a brother James Reeves III of Cottageville.  There are eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, September 29, 2020 at 11:00 at Maple Cane Baptist Church, with burial following in the Reeves Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends during a time of visitation Monday evening from 6-8 PM at Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro.
