WALTERBORO:     Stephen Edward Stroupe passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 in London, Ohio while performing his duties as a dedicated long distance truck driver.  He was 54.

Stephen was born in Charleston, SC, September 16, 1971.  He is survived by his wife Indria Stroupe, by his mother, Gail Anderson Baker (Tony), of Martinez, GA, by his brother Paul Stroupe (Mary Ann) of Round O, and by his nephews Cody Stroupe (Nicole), of Cottageville, Brandon Stroupe of Walterboro, and Brantley Stroupe of Cottageville.  He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Alexander "Alex" Stroupe Jr.

In accordance with his wishes, Stephen will be buried privately beside his late father Alex, and his late grandparents, Ernest Stroupe Sr. and Eliza Sloman Stroupe, at Black Creek Cemetery.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home is assisting the family.
