WALTERBORO :     Thomas John Simpson, husband of Jessica Ayer Simpson, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 4, 2020 at his home in Walterboro.  He was 33.

Thomas was born in Cambridge, MA August 16, 1986 a son of Debra "Debbie" Simpson and the late Mark Gene Simpson.  He was following in his father's footsteps as a gifted carpenter and hard worker.  He was a devoted husband and father and his family, especially his son, was the focus of his life.  Thomas was an accomplished musician and was a talented guitar player.  Above all, he was a Christian, and his life reflected that through his caring personality and his desire to always help others.

In addition to his wife and his mother, he is survived by his son James Daniel Simpson, and by his siblings, Daniel Wesley Simpson and Katherine Ayer (Josh).  He has a niece and nephew Isabelle and Gene, and his paternal grandmother Carol Brachter Simpson.

Graveside services will be held Monday morning, June 9, 2020 at 11:00 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Walterboro.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
