BLUFFTON :     Walter Winston "Walt" Guilford passed away Thursday morning, March 11, 2021 at the Hilton Head Hospital in Hilton Head after a brief illness.  He was 58.

Walt was born in Colleton County January 19, 1963 a son of the late Winston Ernest Guilford and Linda Dale Simmons Guilford.  He had spent most of his life in the Construction Industry, serving in recent years as a foreman.  He loved the outdoors, especially camping and boating with his family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Bryan Walter Guilford and Megan Leigh Guilford, his sister Jennifer Guilford Dean (Hal), his step-mother Elizabeth "Beth" Benton Guilford, and his step-sister Carolyn Frye (Russ).  There is a host of extended family that loved him and will miss him dearly.

Graveside services will be held Saturday morning, March 20, 2021 at 11:00 at the Zahler Cemetery near Yemassee.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
