WALTERBORO: Mrs. Wanda Crosby Wright, wife of Raymond Wright, passed away Friday morning May 26, 2017 at her home under the care of Hospice Care of South Carolina. She was 71.
Wanda was born in Walterboro April 6, 1946 a daughter of the late Herman H. Crosby Sr., and Edna Elizabeth "Lib" Warren Crosby. She was a retired bank teller and employee of the Colleton County Recreation Center, and was a member of the Sandy Dam United Methodist Church. In years past, when her health allowed it, she loved riding motorcycles in the mountains with her husband.
In addition to her husband of 53 years, she is survived by her children, Tommy Wright and Pamela C. Wright, both of Aiken. She leaves behind her siblings: Herman Crosby Jr. (Sherri), Miles Crosby (Bonnie) and Nancy Lee (Don) all of Walterboro. She was preceded in death by a brother, W. Craig Crosby.
Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 in the Sandy Dam United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care of SC.
