ISLANDTON:     Charles Wayne Lee Jr. Passed away unexpectedly late Thursday evening, May 7, 2026 at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro after a brief illness.  He was 53.

Wayne was born in Walterboro February 20, 1973 a son of the late Patsy Carson Lee and the late Charles Wayne Lee Sr.  For many years he was a devoted employee of Breland Farms, before becoming employed at Iron Line Metals in Yemassee.  Wayne was an avid fan of Clemson athletics and could always be found watching football games on Saturdays during the Fall.  He was a devoted son, brother and uncle.

He is survived by his brothers Andy Lee (Beth), Chris Lee (Troyce) and Cory Lee.  There are a host of nieces and nephews that adored him:  Savannah (Ryan), John "Bubba", Lacy, Logan, Hayden, Harlen, Gabe, Gabby, and Mollie, as well as great nieces and nephews Colton, Lilah, Liam and Livi.  Wayne leaves behind his step-mother Tina Lee, as well as one he raised as a daughter, Cora Reagan.  There is a host of aunts, uncles and extended family.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon, May 12, 2026 at 2:00 at Peniel Baptist Church in Islandton, with burial following in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 in the church sanctuary.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
