WALTERBORO :     William Lonnie "Billy" Fillers, husband of Alberta R. Fillers, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 under the care of Agape Hospice.  He was 51.

Billy was born in Charleston September 18, 1967 a son of Dorothy Hickman Fillers and the late Donald Eugene Fillers Sr.  He was an employee of Yellowstone Landscaping and Hass Environmental.  He was a member of Doctor's Creek Baptist Church, and was a hardworking man who was devoted to his wife and children.

In addition to his wife and his mother Dorothy McGrew (William), he is survived by his children:  Ronnie and Ricky Huff, Glenda Faye Mixon, Brenda Kay Jackson, Nancy Sharon Edwards, and Charlene Preston.  He leaves behind his siblings:  Donald and John Fillers, Jay McGrew, Angel Strength, Margaret Bottoms, and Betty DeMarco.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by three children:  Charles Huff, June Pearson, and William "Bubba" Huff.  There are a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and extended family.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning, February 7, 2019 at 11:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, with burial following in the Doctor's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening at the funeral home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro.
